A job for Mum

My Mum has been asking for a caricature of herself to use as an avatar for a while now. How long? Well, quite a while actually, so I can finally tick that one off the list of things to do.

Caricatures

Here's a couple of caricatures I've done in the last couple of weeks for people who've left where I work. Previously there was someone else at work doing these, but he left at Christmas and I've been asked to pick up where he left off. It's been fun to break out the old caricature skills again.

One of the men who probably influence mine and many of my peers childhoods passed away on the weekend. Ralph McQuarrie, the concept artist behind the original Star Wars Films.More here

Here's something else I'm currently working on. Not a job as such, a potential submission piece but nonetheless I've only got a couple of weeks to finish it. Nothing like a deadline hey?

And here I am in the middle of this 30 Day Drawing Challenge as well.

I figure posting some progress sneak peeks might just motivate me to get it finished in time.
